Registration
If you received
an email notification of acceptance to
the school,
we invite you to now formally register and pay for attendance.
Registration and payment can be done either by direct wire transfer or
credit card.
How to register
First, decide what kind of registration you need.
- Standard registration (1250 Euro): covers the school, food, and
accommodation in a room shared with one other person.
Details of what is covered are below.
- Special registration (1500 Euro): as for the standard registration,
but with accommodation in a single room.
If you have requirements not covered by these two options, please
contact us immediately.
The procedure then is as follows:

Pay the registration fee by wire transfer or by credit card,
as detailed below. Please make sure you specify VVV09 and your name
(or names, in the case of
multiple registrations from the same institution). Please avoid anonymous
payments, as they are difficult to track and may cause delays.
- Email vvv09-admin@robotcub.org,
informing us that you have made payment.
For wire transfer, proof of the transfer
(such as a scan of the bank receipt) is required to guarantee
your seat at the school - we need to confirm the booking with the
hotel.

Please email us if you run into any difficulty and/or your
institution cannot make payment by the deadline.
We cannot guarantee your place at the school otherwise.

Credit card
To register and pay by credit card, please go to: http://www.mediaterraneo.org/iscrizione_home.asp,
select the summer school from the drop menu and follow the online
instructions. Mediaterraneo is the venue of the summer school.
Note: at the time of writing, the credit card payment form on the
Mediaterraneo site contains large chunks of Italian. We apologize for the
inconvenience, and hope to get this fixed.
In the meantime we are compiling a
translation of
terms.

What you are paying for
Standard registration fee (1250 Euros) includes:
- School participation
- 11 nights (bed & breakfast): arrival 19 July 09 - departure 30 July 09
- Your stay:
- Hotel in Sestri Levante
- Double room, two participants per room
- Room allocation based on gender
- Dinner at the restaurant of Hotel Mira
- Every day except on Sunday July 26th, 2009 when the school is not held:
- coffee breaks and lunches at the school venue
Special registration fee (1500 Euros) includes:
- The same services of standard registration
- Your stay in Hotel in Sestri Levante, in a single room (not shared)
Spouse or partner
could be accommodated, based on availability. This has to be agreed in
advance; please, let us know as soon as possible before placing a payment.

Cancellation policy
Refund schedule for cancellations:
- By May 30th, registration fee - 100 Euros
- By June 15th, registration fee - 300 Euros
- By June 30th, registration fee - 600 Euros
- from July 1st, no refund is possible
All deadlines 5pm Italian time.
